Calling all Parrot Heads to donate to a special charity namely, Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC).

SPARCC's mission is to provide services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, and to promote a violence free community through awareness and education.

Their website has a wish list which includes: household supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, cleaning products, new twin-size bed sheets, crib sheets, pillows and cases, bath towels, blankets, non-perishable food items, new clothing, new personal care/hygiene items (shampoo, deoderant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, etc.). They also need gas cards, bus passes, pre-paid phone cards, and gift cards (Grocery, Target or Wal-Mart).

Our raffle proceeds at the September meeting will also go to SPARCC. So, be sure to buy your raffle tickets!!
